Retaining Overseas Tax for Landlords
Click on the ‘Spanner’ icon in the top tool bar
This will bring up the Sage Company List – double click
on the ‘Company’ and this will bring up the ‘Company’ Window
Click on ‘Client Nominals’ and make sure a % is entered
in ‘Default Tax Reserve Rate’ and ‘Save’ – then ‘Exit’ from the next screen.
Go to the ‘Landlords’ module then double click on the
Landlord to open up the record
Down the right hand side
fill in the following information: -
Statement by – ‘Individual
Properties’
Tick ‘Inc Tax Report’
Choose ‘Residency’
Approval No – Enter Inland
Revenue No.
Tick ‘Retain Tax’
‘Save & Exit’
When you create the
Landlord Statement you need to choose ‘Property’ by clicking on the arrow to
bring the drop down list, once you ‘Add to Statement’ you will see the ‘Tax’
charges.
