The Suppliers Module

This document will explain the ‘Suppliers Module’.


Options Section


New Supplier

Will open the ‘New Contact’ screen to create a new contact, the ‘Supplier’ contact type will already be pre-selected.

 Edit Supplier

Will open an existing Supplier when highlighted and allow you to edit/add details in the Supplier contact record.

Delete Supplier

Will remove the Supplier, when highlighted, from the system – any financial activity on this Supplier will still remain in sage.

Quick Invoice

Will open the ‘Quick Supplier Invoice’ screen to send a one off invoice item to Sage (without creating the invoice record in Decorus), the item will show as a ‘PI’ in Sage.

Paperless Link

This allows you to import supplier invoices – please see the ‘Paperless Link’ document for more information.

Finance Section


Supplier Payment

 Will open the ‘Supplier Payment’ screen where you can pay any outstanding Supplier Invoices, please see the ‘Paying the Supplier’ document.


Aged Balances

 Will open the ‘Aged Creditors’ screen, here you can produce a report for any outstanding supplier payments for set dates/periods.

Outlook Section

 

 Send to Outlook

Will send the current list/view of suppliers to outlook as contacts.

Communicate Section

 


Letter, Email and SMS

Please see document ‘Sending Mass Letters, Emails and SMS’ for more details

Print/Export Section

 

 


Export to Excel

Will export the current ‘view’ to an excel spreadsheet.

(This currently only works with Microsoft Excel)

 Print List

Will print the same list as using the ‘Export to Excel’ function.

Supplier Reports

Will allow you to generate a choice of reports including:

Supplier Address List

Supplier Email List

Supplier Phone List

Suppliers by type

 

Dashboard

The ‘Dashboard’ allows you to create and print graphs and charts from your available data.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Groups


Here suppliers will be filtered into a Category type, this will be determined by the ‘Category’ field you selected in the contact record when creating the contact originally

See ‘Adding a Contact’ for more information.

 

Tag Section


This section allows you to select multiple entries at once (by ticking each one) for mass communication. For example selecting SMS and selecting a template allows you to merge the selected contacts.


Views Section


User Views

You can select the view you would like to see shown in the filters on the left hand side under ‘User Views’

(see ‘User Views’ document for more details)

 

Select Columns

This allows you to select which columns you would like to show on the Landlord main screen
