The Overview Module

The Overview Module

When you log into Decorus you will be presented with the ‘Overview Module’. This will give you an overview of all the need to know information for managing your properties.



Logout Tab

 Logout

Clicking this button will log you out of the software, it will ask you if you want to back up your data upon exiting, you can choose yes or no, or you can cancel the log out and go back into the software.

 User List

Clicking the user list tab will bring up the User Admin screen, from here if you have ‘Administrator’ rights, you can add a new user or edit/delete other users; you also have the option to print the user list.

Clicking on the ‘New User’ will allow you to create a new login account (you must be an administrator to do this).

Start by filling in basic details such as user login and password, fill in the full name and department, if desired, you MUST enter the users Sage login name and password in the ‘Sage Login’ and ‘Sage Password’ section to allow Decorus to connect with Sage.




 

You can also create the user’s access rights in the software from this window, for example you may want to give a user access to view any information in the software, however disable the right to post any financials, see example below. The ‘Administrator’ setting means that the user can create and edit other user accounts as well as access ‘Preferences’ and the ‘Sage Company List’.

See the ‘Notes’ tab at the bottom to add any details, that you need to keep a record of.

Options Section


Visionbase News

This will open the Visionbase news feed which will keep you updated with offers and new developments.

Preferences

(See ‘Preferences’ document for more info)

Check for Upgrade

This will check that you are using the latest version on Decorus and search for any new updates available

(this check will happen automatically on loading Decorus).

 Internet Web Link

This is an optional module that you can purchase for Decorus; it will allow you to upload your properties to your website. Please contact Visionbase Software for more information.

 Dashboard Toggle

Allows you to change the view of the main screen.

 Alert Range Section

 

Today

This will show all alerts for the day.

Date Range

 

 

 This will show all alerts within a specified date range.

Print List

You can print a list of all alerts on the list (whether they are specified with a date range, a one day search or all alerts on the screen.

 

 Export to Excel

This will allow you to export the list of alerts you are currently viewing into Microsoft Excel.

All of your other alerts such as tenant and property alerts are displayed on the Overview screen on the left hand side.




  

 Help Section




  

 Help

This button will open up the ‘Help Centre’, from here you can submit a ticket, view Help documentation and tutorials. You can also view the ‘About’ screen to review your version of Decorus.

Online Support

From here you can open up the Support Ticket centre directly via web browser. You will also have access to the Knowledgebase articles to help you resolve your own issues. Please see the ‘Raising a Support Ticket’ Document for more info.
