This document will explain the ‘Landlord Screen’ and its application
features and icons.
The Landlord Screen has 3 different view types;
The first is the ‘Dashboard’ view. This view type gives
you an overview of your Landlords.
The second is the ‘Landlords’ view. This lets you view your
Landlords through any of the filters on the left of the screen.
Landlords View
Finally, we have the ‘Statements’
view. This view lets you see your statements through any of the filters located
on the left of the screen.
Statements View
Options Section (Landlords View Type)
New Landlord
Will open the ‘New Contact’ screen to create a new contact
with the ‘Landlord’ contact type pre-selected
Edit Landlord
Will open an existing highlighted
Landlord and allow you to edit/add details into the Landlord contact record
Delete Landlord
Will remove the highlighted
Landlord contact from the system – please note any financial activity for this
Landlord will still exist in sage
Finance Section
Landlord Payments
Will
open the ‘Landlord Payments’ screen to post any outstanding payments due to the
Landlord.
Landlord Receipt
Will
open the ‘Receipt’ screen to create a receipt for any invoices posted against a
Landlord.
Landlord Invoice
Will
open the ‘Post Transaction’ screen to create a one off invoice against the
Landlord.
Landlord Adjustment
Will
open the ‘Post Adjustment’ screen to create an adjustment against a Landlords
account.
Landlord Aged Balances
Will
open the ‘Aged Debtors (Landlords)’ screen. From here you can view how much the
Landlord owes.
Clicking
on ‘Send to Outlook’ will send the existing contact/landlord highlighted to
outlook as a contact.
Communicate Section
Will
allow you to select from a list of all statements produced in the past and
print multiple statements as necessary.
Export to Excel
Will export the current ‘view’
to an excel spreadsheet, i.e. if the filter was set to ‘All Let’ it will export
that list of only ‘All Let’ properties onto an Excel Spreadsheet.
(This
currently only works with Microsoft Excel software)
Landlord Reports
There
are currently no ‘Landlord Reports’ we are looking at this for future
development.
Dashboard
Can
produce graphs (Bar, Pie, Doughnut, Line etc) for particular Filters from either ‘Property’, ‘Diary’, ‘Tenant’,
‘Work orders’ or ‘Contacts’.
Examples:
This section allows you to
select multiple entries at once (by ticking each one) for mass communication.
For example selecting SMS and selecting a template allows you to merge the
selected contacts.
Views Section
User Views
This
allows you to make a personalised filter in the left side bar.
Select Columns
This
allows you to select which columns you would like to show on the Landlord main
screen
