Allocation

If your tenancy/ landlord/ housing benefit balance is £0.00 but there are outstanding transactions on the account, you have to perform allocation on outstanding transactions.

- To do this go to the 'Tenancy' module and select 'Tenant Receipts'.

- In the tenants receipts window select your tenant account from the drop down list. All outstanding transactions will be displayed on the main window.

- To allocate transactions, click on each of them and press 'Pay in Full'.

- After allocating receipt values should change from £0.00 to the correct outstanding amount (analysis total has to be £0.00).

- You will then need to click 'Post Receipt'.

- A window asking if you would like to post the transaction into Sage will appear. Click 'Yes'.
