This document will explain
the ‘Applicant Module’ and application features and buttons.
Options Section
New Applicant
Will open the ‘New Contact’ screen to create a new
contant, the contact type ‘Applicant’ will be pre-selected.
Edit Applicant
Will open the highlighted ‘Applicant’ and allow you to
edit/add details in the record.
Delete Applicant
Will remove the highlighted ‘Applicant’ contact from
the system – please note all financial activity on this Applicant (account
reference) will still remain in Sage.
Remove Old Applicant’s
This option will produce a list of old applicants where
no action or updates have been made on the record in over 6 months. You can
then select from the list which applicants you wish to remove (by mass).
New Viewing
Will
open a new diary entry (Viewing), from here you can create your new viewing
which will be stored and saved in the ‘Diary’ module.
Contact Receipt
Will open the ‘Contact Receipt’ screen where you can assign a receipted
amount ‘SR’ Sales Receipt against a raised ‘SI’ Sales Invoice.
(the contact needs to be updated
to sage for this function to work)
Please be aware that a contact receipt is a transaction
that is raised for a charge that is ‘pre-tenant’ for example to produce a
charge such as the admin or documentation fee etc. select the ‘Applicant to
Rent’ button within a contact record
Outlook Section
Will
send the current list view of applicants to Microsoft Outlook as contacts.
Communicate
Section

Print/Export
Section
Export to Excel
Will export the current ‘View’ to an
Export to Excel
This exports the list to Excel.
Print List
This
will print the same list as using the ‘Export to Excel’ function.
Reports
Will
allow you to generate reports based on ‘Applicants’
Dashboard
This
allows you to use your data to create graphs from within Decorus.
Views Tabs
User Views
You can select the view you
would like to see shown in the filters on the left hand side under ‘User Views’
(see ‘User Views’ document
for more details)
Select Columns
This brings up a list of boxes that allow you to choose the
columns that you wish to display. Click on the box you would like to show in
the column and this will put an ‘x’ in the box. All boxes marked with an ‘x’
will show in the columns.
