Adding an Owned Property

 

 

To add a new owned property, go to the 'property' module and select 'New Property'.

- Enter all relevant information such as property details & marketing (for multi company make sure that the correct company is selected under the company field). 

- The Sage department is allocated automatically to the next available department code in Sage.

 

Management tab - 

Here you are specifying the management type for the property which determines the 'Rent Nominal'. On this procedure property should be 'Owned' and the 'Rent Nominal' should be from the '4000' range. 

If you are a landlord and your property is managed by an external agent who charges you a monthly commission after you have selected 'owned' - single click on 'Management' and select 'Managed by Letting Agent' and add your external agent information. 

 

Once all the details are applied, select 'Done' from the top left corner. When the property record is completed with all the necessary information entered click 'Save and Exit' from the top left corner.
