Multi Let Properties

Multi let – if the property is a number of flats/rooms within one property, or a number of units within an industrial estate.

 Choose ‘Multi Let’ under ‘Let Type’, in the property record, this will bring up an additional box

  Enter the number of rooms in the property

 ‘Save & Exit’ from the screen (top left tab) and the following window will appear

 

 From here you can add ‘New Room’ – ‘Edit Room’ or ‘Delete Room’, when you have completed, click ‘Exit’ this will bring you out of the ‘Property Record’ and you will now see that the new property has been added to Decorus.


 Go back into the property by ‘double clicking’; you will see the rooms now appear like this




 

If you click on this, it will bring the window up with each room where you can add, edit or delete a room


If your tenants are ‘Joint and Several’ tick the ‘Joint and Several’ box at the side of ‘Rooms/Units’

 

This will then link the tenancies and when you create a tenancy agreement it will mail merge all the tenants’ names


Also within the Tenancy record an icon will appear against ‘Change Status’ – ‘J & S’


When you click on this icon a new window will appear showing the balances for each tenant
