Installation of Decorus for Sage

This is the web address to download Decorus for Sage:

www.decorus-pms.com/downloads/Decorus-Setup.exe

Enter the web address into your web browser then press enter.

Depending on the Internet Browser you’re using, the view may be different to the Windows 10 - Microsoft Edge view shown below.

At the bottom of your screen you should see this small icon bar, showing the download progress.

When it has finished downloading, you need to click the ‘Run’ button to start the installation.

A Microsoft Windows user account control prompt should appear, looking similar to this, you need to click ‘Yes’ to grant access to install our Decorus software.

At the first screen, click ‘Next’.

At the next screen you can scroll through to read the terms & conditions of our software, then click the tick box to confirm that you agree, then click ‘Next’.

At the next stage you have the install options, the tick needs to be next to ‘Decorus for Sage’ to install the program. (See screenshot).

If it is the first time that you are installing the software, then the tick needs to be next to ‘Data Install’.

If you are Re-Installing or upgrading the software, you can un tick the ‘Data Install’, however it will not cause any issues to your data if it is ticked when you reinstall.

If you wish to install the software to a different location other than C:\Program Files (x86), then you can click the ‘Browse’ button to locate where you want it installing.

Then click the ‘Install’ button (See screenshot on the next page).

The next screen will show the progress of the software installing.

Then click ‘Finish’.

When Decorus has completed installing, you will see the Decorus icon

on your desktop

Double click the icon to open the software.

The first time you open the software it will prompt you for a Name and Key, these will be provided when you make your purchase.

The Username is case sensitive and the Licence key will appear similar to this one shown.

Then click ‘OK’, then the message will appear – Key is valid and has been stored.

Open the Decorus software again with the Decorus icon on your desktop.

The default data path where your Decorus data is saved is shown below C:\USERS\DOCUMENTS\DECORUS_DATA

If you wish to change the path that the data is saved to, for example saving to a network drive, then you need to move the ‘Decorus_Data’ folder to the location of your choice then click the ‘Setup Data Path’ button

When clicking ‘Setup Data Path’, click ‘Yes’ to change the path, then your Windows folder tree will appear, for you to browse to the destination that you have previously copied the ‘Decorus Data’ folder to. Select the Decorus_Data’ folder and click ‘OK’.
