The ‘Booking’ module is designed for companies that have
student accommodation to enable them to set up schedules for all different room
types.
Once activated, you can set up the individual schedules
by going into the ‘Configure’ window and then double clicking into the ‘Data
Path’
In the new window, click on ‘Charges’
In the next window, click on the ‘Charging Schedule’ icon
Within the ‘Advanced Charging Module’ window, click on
‘Add Schedule’
In the next window, enter the details for the schedule
Company – if you have more than one
company, select from the drop down menu
Description – brief description of
the schedule
Market As – this will pick up from
the narrative ‘Class’ entered in the property record
Room Type – this will pick up from
the narrative ‘Room Type’ entered in the property record
Tenancy Status – this is at what
point the schedule will be selected within the tenancy record
Once these detailsls are entered, click on ‘Add’ in the
bottom right corner of the window
In the next window, enter the schedule details and ‘Save’
(if more than one item in the same schedule, repeat until complete)
And then ‘Save’ again and the schedule will be added to
the list
When you create a tenancy and select the property with
the same narratives, at the ‘Active’ stage, it will bring up the list of
schedules, select from the list and click ‘Attach Selected’
The recurring rent charges will now be displayed in the
schedule
