To add a unit to a block, within the ‘Block’ module,
click on ‘New Property’
A new window will appear
Click on the ‘Block’ icon and select the block you wish
to add the unit, then click ‘OK’ – this will prefill the property details, you
will need to enter the unit number
Service Company – If Block by Company, select Company from drop down menu
Sage Department – Dependent on which option you choose in the block; this will default to
either ‘0’ or a dept. code
Estate – If the property belongs to an Estate you can
optionally add it here
Marketing
‘Class’ – Select from drop down menu and
dependent on class, will display different fields, in this diagram
‘Residential’ is selected, therefore lists bedrooms/bathrooms etc. – if you
were to select ‘Commercial’ – parking/size etc. would be displayed
‘Property Type’
– If you click on the ‘Box’ icon it will display a list of options
‘Region’ –
Select from drop down menu
‘Agreement Type’
– If you enter an agreement type, example AST, when you create a tenancy/lease
it will link the specific workflow set in the ‘Preferences’ window (see
‘Workflow’ document
Finance
‘Floor’ – Select from the drop down menu
which floor this unit is on
‘Split’ – If
you are using the ‘Service Charge Budget’ module, enter the % split, which will
feed through to this module (see ‘Service Charge’ document for more details)
‘Leaseholder’
– If this unit is owned, add the leaseholder
Photos
You can attach up to
8 photos by clicking on each number icon, which will open a new window and from
here, either ‘Attach File’ or ‘Scan Document’ and ‘Save’
Once all information is entered ‘’Save & Exit’
