Agent Statement (Landlord Version)

Within the ‘Property’ record, click on the ‘Ownership’ tab to open the ‘Property Ownership’ window and make sure the Agent is attached as below


‘Agent’ – Make sure an agent is selected

Flat fee or Percentage’ – Enter either a flat fee or %

Fee Nominal’ –  Choose nominal code relevant to your company

Fee VAT’ – ‘1’ if VAT able ‘9’ if Non VAT able

Now click on the ‘Agent Statements’ within the ‘Tenancy’ module


In the next window click on ‘Statement’


In the next window, select the Agent by clicking on the ‘Address Book’ icon, at the side of ‘Account Ref’.


In here, from the bottom tabs, click on ‘Tenant’ & ‘Applicant’ to de-select then click on ‘Agent’ and select which Agent you require


The transactions will now appear in the ‘Agent Statement’ window, make sure the ‘Property’ box is ticked and select the property from the drop down list


Fill in the relevant details: -

Make sure correct ‘Account’ is selected, as this is where the money will be paid to,

‘Date’ on statement

‘Statement No’

Then from the bottom tabs, click on ‘Pay in Full’

Click on ‘Commission’ this will bring up the ‘Post Transaction’ window

 

If you are happy that all the information is correct, click ‘Post’ – it will ask ‘Are you sure you want to post this transaction to Sage’ – click ‘Yes’

The transaction will now appear in the ‘Agent Statement’ window.

If you have any additional expenses that you would like to add, for example repairs etc,

click on ‘Other’ – In This window, enter details of the expense as below for example

 

Click ‘Post’ – it will ask ‘Are you sure you want to post this transaction into Sage’ – click ‘Yes’

This transaction will now appear in the ‘Agent Statement’ window, repeat until all your transactions are entered.

Once you are happy with all the transactions, click ‘Save’


Your transaction will now be listed in the ‘Agent Statements’ window, ready to post. All transactions will be pre-selected with an ‘x’ at the side of the date. If there are any transactions that you do not want to appear on the statement de-select by clicking on the ‘x’. Only transactions with an ‘x’ will appear on the statement. Once all transactions have been selected click ‘Post Transactions’


It will ask ‘Are you sure you want to post the selected receipts into Sage’ – click ‘Yes’

‘Exit’ from the window, this action is now complete.
