Adding tenant to property with housing benefit

Adding a Tenant to a Property with Housing Benefit

 

 

- Go to the 'Property' module and select 'Add Tenant to Property'.

- Select the tenant from the contact list by single clicking on the correct contact record (so it is highlighted in blue) and click 'Select Contact' from the top left corner.

- Make sure that all the below information is correct:

> Listed tenants

> Property

> Management type and next to that Landlord

> Listed Sage company

> Start date of the tenancy

> Initial terms

> Rent

> Frequency

 

- If the tenant is on housing benefits you need to add this in. Click on the 'Benefit' icon.

- This will bring up the 'Benefit' window.

- Fill in the benefit details.

- Click 'Update with Benefits'.

- You will notice that the Agreement Details' have been updated.

- Once all the information is correct, click 'Save and Exit' in the top left of the window.
