To add an Asset, click on the ‘Assets’ module and then
click on ‘New Asset’
A new window will appear
Enter the details of the asset. To attach it to a location, click on the
small box, choose from the list and click ‘Select’
To add a photo, click on the small box at the side of the
photo window, click on ‘Attach File’ and
browse the PC and select, then ‘Save’
When you select the ‘Status’ a new window will appear
In here, you can select the ‘Asset Status’ from the drop
down menu
Once all the information is entered click ‘Change Status’
– dependent on which you select, the colour will change also
The bottom tabs, you also have ‘Notes’ – ‘Jobs’ and
‘Status History’
Notes
This section is if you wish to add any additional notes
regarding the asset
Jobs
If you have created a job with the asset attached, the
job will appear in this window
Status History
Every time you update the status, it will keep a history
in the ‘Status History’ window
Filters
The filters down the left hand side of the main screen
are dependent on what you select within the asset record
- This is when ‘Active’ is selected within the
‘Status’ section
- This is when ‘Decommissioned’ is selected
within the ‘Status’ section
- If you have entered a date in
the ‘Warranty Expires’ field, when that date has lapsed the asset will
appear in this section
- If you have entered a date in
the ‘Replace Date’ field, when this date is due the asset will appear in this
section
